The titles of some new books awake big expectations. For me this book was just such a case. As an expert dealing with reptilian parasites, primarily apicomplexans, I was looking forward to the book very much. When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed. The lack of color and the scarcity of photographs did little to fulfill my expectations. Despite this, I wanted to give the book a second chance based on its content. To my pleasant surprise, I found the overall content quite informative, yet there are several comments I wish to make.
